The Nord Piano 6

The Nord Piano 6 is finally here! The Piano series from Nord produces digital pianos that contain all of the essential functions. Consequently, these pianos have a Triple Sensor keyboard and high-quality sounds for every genre, beautiful samples, and authentic effects. The Piano 6 has, compared to the Piano 5, beautiful new LED faders and double layers. The Piano 6 is available in two versions: with 88 keys or with 73 keys.

Sounds

A great advantage of a professional digital piano is that you’ll have access to multiple sounds. The sound library contains many professional recordings which provide this digital instrument with an authentic sound. For example, you’ll have access to grand pianos, standing pianos, and electric pianos. The system has, for example, innovative reverb, (pre-)delay, and chorus effects. Moreover, the system has fun filters and modulation effects. You can also add different effects to separate layers and the system has an amazing built-in dynamic compressor.

The KA-15S is an amazing sopraan ukulele from Kala, an American company that produces ukuleles by hand. These ukuleles also have an awesome price considering the high quality of the instruments. The ukulele has a laminated mahogany body, which produces a bright and powerful sound. It’s also a very sturdy construction, so the ukulele can withstand a bit of abuse. The Soprano Ukulele

Although the ukulele is often associated with Hawaii, it actually originated from Portugal. It evolved from the branguinha or the machete, a Portuguese instrument, and ended up on Hawaii because it was brought along by Portuguese invaders. King Kalakaua liked the instrument and implemented it in the local royal culture. As such, the ukulele became an enormously popular instrument in Hawaii. Throughout the centuries the ukulele has evolved and is now available in different forms and sizes. This ukulele is a soprano ukulele, which is the smallest size. Other ukuleles (from smallest to biggest) are the concert, the tenor, and the baritone. The soprano ukulele has that typical high ukulele sound and is often associated with typical ukulele music. It can be considered a bit too small for people with big hands, though.

Flexible organ

Everything has been thought of with this organ. Besides the 30 historical tones/tunes/sounds does it also have the usual tremulant and couplers. Because there is a multitude of register possibilities (4x30), unique samples and a possibility to adjust the organ to your own preferences (by Personal Control Centre), there is created a flexible instrument.

The Johannes de Heer VII features the Content Convolution reverb. This is a sampled reverberation with qualities that gives you a certain spatial experience. There is a choice of multiple programs and the choice is yours.

Options

The organs of Johannes de Heer can be delivered in many different colours. The standard colours of this organ are dark and light oak and will be delivered without any extra costs. The YFL-212 is a great flute from Yamaha. Yamaha is a Japanese company that produces high-quality audio products. Like many Japanese companies, they are very innovative and make sure their products are a great balance between affordability and quality. The flute was designed for beginners. The Yamaha B1's Keyboard and mechanics

All keyboards used by Yamaha in their acoustic pianos are produced in-house. The B-series keyboards are made of Sitka spruce. In order to deliver optimal keyboards, the wood is dried carefully and in a natural way. This drying process sometimes takes up to 2 years. After this time, the keys are acclimatized in very hot kilns. The keys are then not coated, so that the benefit of this drying procedure is optimal. The keys can then no longer be influenced by conditions such as temperature and humidity and thus remain in absolute top condition for many years.

Yamaha uses a patented technology for drying and gluing maple wood in the B1. This type of wood is most commonly used for piano mechanisms and ensures a very accurate and durable action. The patented drying and gluing technology ensures that the mechanism can withstand continuous shocking, as well as changes in temperature and humidity. The mechanism consists of no fewer than 5500 parts, all of which are produced by Yamaha itself. One of the most unique parts is the aluminum rails that keep the deviation in the attachment point to a minimum. Yamaha was the first company to use Aluminium, which is insensitive to temperature changes.

Other models in the B-Series

The "B-series pianos" from Yamaha consists of three models, in addition to this B1 model, the 113 centimeter high Yamaha B2 and the 121 centimeter high Yamaha B3 are also available. Transacoustic

Humidity

For the technical condition of a piano or grand piano, it is essential that your instrument is placed in good conditions. Too low humidity or rising heat from underfloor heating can cause cracks and tears in the comb, the soundboard and the voice block. The result is that your piano can no longer be tuned and thus loses its sound and value. Repairing this is very expensive and that is why it is important to monitor the humidity with a hygrometer. For a piano it is important that it is between 40 and 60%.

The piano Carpet is the means to counter the rising heat of underfloor heating and to protect your instrument. However, you still need to keep an eye on the humidity. If this is too low, it is best to have a hydrocele tube or a piano life safer system installed to protect your instrument.
