The Nord Electro 7HP Weighted Keybed is a versatile and professional stage keyboard designed for pianists and all-round keyboard players who want the feel of a weighted keybed combined with the iconic Nord sound. This model brings together advanced organ, piano, and synth engines in a rugged, stage-ready design, making it ideal for both live performance and studio use.

The organ section is based on the powerful Nord Organ 3 engine and features a new rotary speaker with selectable microphone positions, Slow/Fast and Stop functions, and improved transistor organ models. Thanks to the physical drawbars with LED indicators and Drawbar Live Mode, switching between Upper and Lower manual settings and presets is fast and intuitive.

The piano section has been further enhanced with Dynamic Compression and Unison, delivering increased dynamics, depth, and expression. Using the push encoder, you can easily select pianos and other sounds across different categories.

The updated program section features a clear color display, Live Mode, and a push encoder for fast and intuitive program selection, ensuring full control even during complex live performances.

New to the Electro 7 series is the expanded synth section, offering sample playback as well as analog and FM synthesis. Features such as Mono/Legato mode, Glide, Unison, an ADR envelope for amp and filter, a resonant filter, FM partials, and synth vibrato provide a wide palette of modern and classic synth sounds to complement piano and organ.

The effects section has also been updated and includes Rate and Amount controls, Ring Modulator, and Vibe. The amp section introduces a new Suitcase model and a new Brit Amp. Compression can be set per section or globally, while the global reverb with optional sends per layer delivers a professional and spacious sound.

The Nord Electro 7HP is equipped with a weighted Kawai Hammer Action keybed, offering an authentic piano feel and making it an excellent choice for pianists who demand maximum control and expression. In addition to this HP version, the Electro 7 series is also available with 61- and 73-key semi-weighted waterfall keyboards.
