Yamaha PSR-E483 Keyboard
The Yamaha PSR-E483 is a 61-key portable keyboard with touch-sensitive keys, part of the popular Yamaha PSR-E series. Designed for both home use and live performance, it offers a wealth of creative possibilities for beginners and more advanced players alike. With 860 Voices, including 15 Super Articulation Lite Voices, 345 auto-accompaniment Styles, and extensive real-time controls, this keyboard is ideal for anyone looking to buy a Yamaha beginner keyboard or a Yamaha keyboard with touch-sensitive keys. Its price also makes the PSR-E483 one of the most complete options in its class.
Sounds and Styles
The PSR-E483 features 860 Voices and 345 preset Styles, allowing you to play a wide range of musical genres with ease. The Super Articulation Lite Voices deliver realistic reproductions of non-keyboard instruments, such as the strumming of guitar strings or the breath of a wind instrument. This makes the PSR-E483 equally suited to home music-making and live performances.
Playing Ease and Creativity
With Auto Chord Play (100 chord progressions + 10 user settings), chord progressions are played automatically while a chosen Style is active, leaving your hands free to improvise or play melodies. The Looper function lets you record and repeat chord progressions, rhythms, and musical phrases. Quick Sampling allows you to record short audio clips via AUX, microphone, or USB and play them back in sync with the selected Style.
Controls and Expression
The PSR-E483 is equipped with Live Control knobs, Motion Effects, and a Pitch Bend Wheel, allowing you to adjust your sound in real time. Effects such as phasers and tremolos add movement and dynamic expression to your performance. Mega Boost temporarily increases the output volume for extra impact.
Recording and Connectivity
Thanks to the USB Audio Recorder, you can record up to 80 minutes of stereo audio in WAV format (44.1 kHz / 16-bit). The keyboard includes a microphone input with vocal effects, L/R outputs for connecting to a PA system, and USB TO HOST (Type-C) and USB TO DEVICE (Type-A). The Melody Suppressor works with both analogue and digital audio inputs.
